Day 05 & 06 – Small handbuilt/carved ceramic bowl

I built this small ceramic bowl -waited for it to get leather hard and carved off chunks of clay. I’m going to suspend something in the empty space between the two holes. I’m thinking of using a bead & matching

Day 03 – Clay Tile (Drying Stage)

Today I finished the wet clay work on my tile. I took a stained glass pattern and traced it onto rolled out wet clay. I took a knife & cut out the individual pieces when the clay was leather hard.

My small button vase is out of the kiln. It is stained with a thinned out slip with clear glaze over top. I should have stained it a bit more – I think it would have looked a bit better.
