Getting a late start to Thing-a-Day this year, but it’s similar to what I was doing last year.  This year, I’m trying to hone my box modeling skillz using Blender (which I just love; it’s easy to use *and* free)

Today I decided to add a new sub-tool for the hair because I think that will make things easier down the line.  I also added a little hagoita/badminton-type racket to her hand.

Here’s how the back looks.  I added a sub-tool to create the bow today.  I may do the same with the hair to make it easier to sculpt.  We’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
