Egbert is feeling a bit dizzy and is afraid to leave his shell.Another piece crocheted with craft thread.
Tiny amigurumi gnome. This is to replace one I gave a friend for Christmas who had an unfortunate encounter with a candle. The gnome, not my friend.
Scruffy bear. Made from yarn my dad got at an auction. Nice way for me to practice popcorn stitch but he’s pretty ugly.
Came across these clear acrylic shapes while pawing through my supplies. Sponged on some alcohol inks for instant earrings.
I thought My Little Pony would be a good weekend project. I didn’t anticipate how busy today would be so this guy took longer than I hoped.Pattern from here: http://www.knitoneawesome.blogspot.co.uk/
The black background makes this geode slice look a bit gray, it’s actually translucent white. Trying to combine things from my bead stash.
The art Meetup group I belong to chose “warp” for our theme this month. Initially I planned to make a pin loom over a small painted canvas (warp is the term used for the the lengthwise threads on a loom).
Basic brick-stitch earrings with delica beads. The turquoise chips are leftover from a necklace I made several years ago.
My first attempt at crocheted socks. I worked on these on and off over 4 days and finally finished today. Super easy to make but time consuming.
Poufy the polar bear. I found this fuzzy yarn in A.C. Moore’s dollar bin. I couldn’t pass it up and also picked up a weird, pea-green color of the same style yarn.
No time to make anything that takes more than an hour so I stitched up a quick ring. Delica beads withSwarovski accents.
Origiam for the year of the dragon. I knew the other “Thing” I’m working on would take a few days to finish.
