I got this wonderful paper in the assortment of paper I got the other day. It’s specifically designed for this turtle model, though it works for other things that have a center to show off.

Found a lotus blossom origami model that I like!
Day 21 – Crocheted Fractal
I started a turtle, but didn’t feel like following directions, so I did this instead. It’s the same yarn as the blue eyed octopus. I may stick something in the middle and attach it to a hair clip or something.

Day 20 – One Sheet of Paper
All of these come from one 8.5X11 sheet of scrapbooking paper. The box is 8.5X8.5. That left a 2.5 inch wide strip. The three cranes out of that are 2.5X2.5. That left a strip a little under an inch wide

There are three models here – a star box, a day lily and an iris. The paper is 2 inches square. The box of paper had been hiding and I just rediscovered it.

The long black section in this yarn is kind of annoying, especially for something like this. But the octopus turned out pretty cool anyway.

I made a fez for my hubby for Valentine’s day. He already has a bowtie and a sonic screwdriver. In the picture, the fez is being modeled by Spider the cat.

Amigurumi octopus + cat ears + cat nose & mouth = octopussy!

Got them done! They’re a tight squeeze – they fit, but only just. They’ll stretch with wearing, but even making another pair for myself, I’d go a little bigger.
