Polymer clay cat (or is it a dog?)… I was going for a cat, but I’ve gotta admit…it does look like a dog…. Advertisements
Polymer Clay Flower Ring. I seem to make these flower rings a lot. Some of my scrap canes make very good petals and this is a way to use them.
Alien with red balloon. A friend of mine wanted an alien with a red balloon. So here he is (he’s about two inches tall).
Polymer clay beads… It’s amazing what you can make with leftover scrap clay from quilt patterns. I just can’t leave it alone….
Polymer Clay Fox. I was going to cover it with a quilt pattern, but I like the way the scrap clay marbled together on this little fox. So I left it as is.
So tired…I didn’t have any inspiration tonight, so I made a few beads (technical computer issues didn’t help)….
Japanese angel ornament It’s funny how things work. I planned on doing another animal figure, but when I sat down to make something, this little Japanese ornament came out….
Angel Ornament I really like the colors in this “hen and chicks” quilt pattern. It works really well in this angel Christmas ornament.
This one is made with Sculpey Moldmaker, so I need to bake it. However, the quality of the impression looks really good.
D’oh! I fell asleep on the couch last night. Here’s my thing a day – day six. It’s a bead, using the snail’s trail quilt pattern.
Running late (as usual!), so I finished up these polymer clay beads…. **DRAT! This post was sitting in my drafts instead of posted on Thing a Day for yesterday. Here it is today, as well.**
*sigh* It’s the last day…and I was on a roll. Oh well. I made two critters today. One from the jungle, a parrot; and one from the sea, a fish. If I missed your request, I’m sorry. I think I’ll

Well, I guess I’m continuing with the “Safari” theme for now. I may mix it up a bit; or maybe not…I’m a bit scatter-brained and don’t stay with the same thing for too long–we’ll see. Anyway:
I had one more barnyard critter, but it will take a while and I got home rather late from work. So I did this pink elephant instead:
I got a lot of suggestions for animals in answer to my Day Nineteen post. I may have one or two barnyard critters left in me and then it’s on to new habitats…. Thanks and stay tuned!
I’m going to be running out of barnyard animals pretty soon; I’ll have to branch out to other habitats…any requests?
One of the workshops offered at the conference, was making little Inro boxes. Here’s the one I finished today:
I was away at a polymer clay conference and didn’t have access to my computer (I was unable to upload pictures to my tablet–oh well). I did make something every day, so I’m posting them all today. First up:
Thing 17 is more polymer clay. I used bits and pieces leftover from the in progress butterfly cane to make some nice veneer and with it, I made a couple of pendants and components for a bracelet. And because I
Today’s thing was just sort of following a tutorial on making a cane slice covered heart in polymer clay. Turns out it was a very cool way to make a heart. It feels nice in my hand and I’m thinking
I’ve only got the platypus here tonight…I gave the first three (the cat, the dog, the mouse) to my mom for Valentine’s Day:
