Strange day. Body Balance class didn’t give me my much needed jolt.
An unexciting walk to the pharmacy allowed me to breathe in some Spring.
Mabes took a nap on me on our return.
Makes me think there is hope for Spring here!
Oh, crocus! The second sign of spring after the snowdrops. The radio here had a story about the viking museum in York last week. Is that near you?
Yes – it’s been the Viking festival all week long. I live just outside of York City Centre (a short ride). I can walk into town by the river. York’s centre (measured by the city walls) is really quite small. I live in a little village called New Earswick. It was built by Joseph Rowntree. I believe that the term “the poverty line” was coined by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation who undertake a lot of social research.
