TAD Day 6: Felt ornament

ImageIt seems each year, there is something that looks so much better in person than I can capture in a photograph.  I’m actually pretty happy with how this looks, and could see doing more of them.  They are about 3 inches high. The original instructions used paper, but I saw a kit for them at a quilt show last fall using thick felt. I had some of that stiffened felt you can get at any craft store.  Instructions here: http://howaboutorange.blogspot.com/2013/12/diy-paper-christmas-ornaments.html

Side note: Power is on, although there are still 350k people with out it around me–including my stubborn parents who won’t come stay at my house. It’s supposed to hit 10 degrees fahrenheit tonight, so by tomorrow I hope they will change their minds.

About alookatthelittlethings

I completed a 365 year of making challenge in 2015 and decided to see how long I could keep it going. I jump around from craft to craft, but trying new things is what keeps life interesting.
