TAD 2013 – Day 24

Shacks

It’s been over 3 years in the making, as I said in a previous post on day 10…. It started out way a much more realistic acrylic painting that I ended up not liking. So I painted over it and started over…..

and now….. I’m done! All I have left to do is sign it!

  1. I really like this painting. I meant to ask earlier – would you mind if I made it into a scarf? I’d have to add some more houses because of the proportion of a scarf. I totally understand if you’d rather not, and please feel free to say if you’re not 100% comfortable, but thought I’d ask. I think it would be amazing on silk.

  2. Thank you so much Susan! I love your scarves and I am very flatter. I don’t have a problem with you using this. This was actually based on a photo someone took while we were in Haiti a few years ago. Those shacks were rusty and pretty monochromatic so I made them my own and I am sure the scarf would have your own twist. I’d love to see the finished product if you would be willing to email me a picture. bjcobb2004@yahoo.com
