For today’s project, I assembled an electronics kit for use in a project planned for later this month. Using a soldering iron for the first time in about 15 years, I somehow managed to put everything together correctly on the first try (catching a mistake, however, along the way). The boards and lights work exactly as designed, but not as I had hoped. Next time, I’ll read the box more carefully! I had hoped for a back-and-forth lighting sequence, but the illumination is only in a variation of one-way (left to right only) patterns. I had originally planned on using this to make a Cylon-inspired teddy bear later this month, but am certain to find some way to use it!
