The instructor at the vacuum forming class had a great mold for a bust of a lion’s head.  I fabricated the shape from his design in PET-G plastic, went home, and made a bunch of chocolate lions.

I took a class today on making objects using the vacuum forming equipment at TechShop.   We found a truck hubcap laying around, so we drilled some holes in it and made it into a vacuum-formed black plastic flowerpot.

I used a high-speed camera to shoot a video of the BART as it pulled past a station, and then cobbled together some scripts with ImageMagick to convert the video into a panorama of the whole train.
